AUTUMN GRACE

leaves of bleeding hearts
now gold

so does grief heal

Haiku Photos

As I read and view my archives for my 1,000 Posts Review, I remember favorite photos. When I began taking some photos again, I realized that poetry helps me see the photos. I would look around the yard, or create a bouquet, and see the photos already there – waiting for someone with a camera. I call them Haiku Photos.

And the images can be expressed in many ways, many art forms. A simple note of encouragement is art too, for example.

Photo is from the yard in July 2015.

I love how the daylilies grow, bloom, and accept change – to begin again the next year. This photo is from August 2015.

The seasons change, and I love observing nature. This photo is from October 1, 2015. The light through the days and years is a constant source of inspiration.

My original post may be read here – it connects to a past one-word prompt series at WordPress.com. This was my post for “Envy.” Thought I’d focus on empathy, caring, and support.

I enjoy the research for images I may reprint. These are from wpclipart.

Daylilies and Hosta 2017

I enjoy watching the perennial plants and flowers through our Wisconsin seasons.  These photos are from later this summer.
