Wisconsin Haiku: Spring and Summer

100_2271

sunrise
daffodils bowed by rain
recover

I wonder
what today’s poem may be
lilacs in the wind

strength for the iris
while waiting to bloom
daylily

last Sunday in June
knitting with yarn
the color of blueberries

raindrops cover
the window screen
branch of green leaves

home from Sheboygan
grateful for the same roads
this long

mid-August
blueberries on sale
from Canada now
